Meet Steve your tour guide
Steve’s career, and life, is about as broad and diverse as they come. A former policeman, outdoor adventurer and Antarctic expeditioner, this guy has lived!
Steve presents a fun and refreshing approach to guiding and hosting. He is not ‘over the top’ like some guides who just do your head in, instead, he is very engaging and whether it’s a day on the trail, a scenic drive or sharing a few turns on the slopes, time spent with Steve is memorable.
Whilst he is well travelled having visited six of the world’s seven continents including 12 months in Antarctica where he managed Mawson Research Station, he loves North America. Why? The National and State Parks are amazing. They are typically American, that is they are Supersized! And no two are the same. The views are stunning and the wildlife abundant.
He is wilderness qualified with formal qualifications in skiing, bushwalking, remote area navigation, alpine skills incl. Antarctic survival training, rock climbing and 4WD to name a few. And, above all, he’s safe!
