SKI SHUTTLES

 

Let’s get straight to it… you’re down here and the snow is up there. You’ve borrowed your Nanna’s Holden Barina (or your ‘earthy’ housemates Toyota Prius) and it’s bucketing down snow. You’ve never driven in the snow before and despite being terrified, you don’t want to admit it to your grungy mates. Then there’s the cost of hiring snow chains and the resort entry fee. And where are you going to park the car? And a bloke at the bar last night warned you about ‘special Alpine fuel’? You recall he said something about cars freezing over and getting stranded? OMG. A trip to the snow sounded so good!

 

Why not stow the stress and park the Barina and have Steve and the team at 3741 Adventures shuttle you and your grungy mates to the resort?

 

For a flat rate of $400 return, you and up to 3 others (that’s 4 in total… in case you can’t add up) can jump on board the best shuttle in town, no wait, the world! Fully equipped with seats and other car like stuff, you’ll be picked up by a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 4WD (yes, it has 4 wheels) and transferred to another place. A snowy place.

 

And did we mention transportation is in the latest and greatest Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 4WD – there simply isn’t a safer way to get to the snow.

 

Where do we shuttle to?

 

To: Mt Hotham – Falls Creek – Mt Buffalo

 

From: We are happy to pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation (we are based in Bright and happy to drive to you but let’s be reasonable… if you’re staying in Albury… you’re on your own!).

Return (alternate day) - $400

One-Way - $250 (plus $50 surcharge if after 8pm)

 

What’s included and what’s not…

 

We provide the wheels (and driver) and you provide everything else. BTW unlike some of our cheap and dodgy competitors our prices include your resort entry fees 😉

 

We are a cruisy bunch at 3741 Adventures and happy to chill out for a little while at the end of the day but not into the night. Unless you’ve contacted us and prearranged an extended stay after skiing for some Apres action, we generally head off the mountain not long after the last lift.

 

Other stuff you need to know…

 

Half days can be arranged but the price is unchanged as there’s not much chance of me getting back to Bright and then back up again with a second trip so my day is done. Therefore we reckon a flat rate of $400 for up to 4 people is about right.

 

Whilst you are the centre of our universe (at least up to the point we receive payment) and we are totally committed to you and your amazing shuttle experience, what we do is weather dependent. Sometimes the weather is really bad and the road is closed meaning you may not get back to your accommodation in time for ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’ or ‘Married At First Sight’ ☹️ 

 

And from time to time there may be an accident blocking the road and delaying our departure (or arrival). Or sometimes we may just hang back a little and let others ‘break trail’ for us. As desperate as you might be to see Farmer Callum drop to one knee and pop the question to Miss Mindy you need to know that safety is our priority. If it is too dangerous we’ll hang back and wait – this applies for both the up and down journeys.

 

Cancellation Policy…

 

If you’ve booked a shuttle you are expected to honour the booking. For this reason we have a 24hr advanced cancellation policy. Put simply, if you don’t cancel 24hrs in advance you’ll be expected to front up and pay up!

 

If the weather prevents us from going then we’ll give you your money back. BUT, our cancellation policy does not cover shitty snow, sleep ins or lazy legs meaning you can’t check out the snow cam that morning and decide not to go! Remember – 24hrs!!!
